CODESEVEN Reunites, Announces Comeback Show
July 19, 2010North Carolina's CODESEVEN has reunited and is planning to hit the road. The band's comeback show will take place on August 20 at Greene St. Club in Greensboro, North Carolina. Also appearing on the bill are BLANKFACE (reunion) and UZZARD.
"We are excited to announce that after five years, CODESEVEN is going to dust off the cob webs and start playing some shows again," says guitarist Eric Weyer.
"The reason? We miss playing these songs. No one offered up a briefcase full of money to get us to do this. It's really all about enjoying the tunes and the ten years of work that went into this.
"The timing in our personal lives is good."
Regarding the upcoming show, guitarist James Tuttle states, "[BLANKFACE] were one of our favorite bands from North Carolina and we are so excited to share the stage with them once again.
"UZZARD will be opening the show and they are super-heavy and probably our favorite band in our hometown right now."
Tuttle continues, "We're working on lining up some special guests for the reunion show and will be pulling out a lot of the older songs we haven't played in many years."
Weyer concludes, "Let's have a little more fun before we hit the retirement homes and we'll see what happens in the future."
